Lays and UEFA Champions League: #TasteTheGlory!

ARE YOU #GAMEREADY!?

When it comes to creative branding and brilliant marketing, lays Pakistan has done it again and went over the top to surprise their audience and fans. Every time the brand comes up with a campaign, it is better and better from the previous one. In the recent past Lays was into campaigns like #LaysLegends and #CleanAndGreen, #CricketCrunch and being associated with Wasim Akram and Messi. Now, breaking all the previous records, Lays has teamed up with UEFA Champions League Association and has bought forward the #TastetheGlory campaign with a full bang! The campaign started with customized Lays(wavy) packs with coupons inside them with a code. The code was to be send to 9005 to participate in a winner's draw, which has never been done before! The Fans had a chance to win AMAZING prizes like Huge LEDs, Playstations, UEFA champions league Merchandise, and the biggest prize of them all, A TRIP TO MILAN TO SEE UEFA CHAMPIONS LEAGUE!! I mean, How cool is that, right?!

The brand also came up with a brilliant idea for people to participate, which was Dubsmash-ing to the #ChoirOfChampions, which is the anthem of UEFA champions League!

To take things up a notch, Lays Pakistan has done something to leave people in complete awe! The brand has turned the Palm Marquee round about, into a mesmerizing installation of pure Art! The Glamorous, and vvv lit mini football stadium with Neon superlights all around, with life-sized cutouts of football figures like Messi, showing his moves on the roundabout.

For the spectators viewing the aesthetic installation, they can participate too, by taking pictures of the installation and uploading them with the hashtag #TasteTheGlory and #GameReady! I’ll be sending my entries as well in hopes of winning something, other than a T-shirt, a keychain, or a Mug! You all have to #TasteTheGlory and be #GameReady!!

Servis Shoes: Utaarnay ka #SceneHeeNahin!!

Shoes are a blessing of an invention for the mankind. Not only they provide protection to one's feet, but also give utter comfort to them, as well as being an accessory to the feet. Over the past decades the ideal shoes have evolved so much that to look beautiful on the feet, the footwear brands have completely eliminated the 'comfort and protection' factor of the shoes we wear and one who has to walk and stand for hours (like me being a med student), one would prefer either wearing nothing except socks, or just crocks (yikes!!)

Damnn Daniel!! Back at it again with the impractical footwear!!!
I think the shoe gods have answered every dukhiyaray's prayers because Servis Sales corporation, which is Pakistan's leading footwear, has recently launched its new summer collection including their signature lines Ndure, Liza and ToZ, to bring back the comfort and style back together!!! HALLELUJAH!

The brand Launched the collection by TVC campaign called "Servis Shoes: Utaarnay ka #SceneHeeNahin". The TVC revolves around the happiest of people amidst situations where they would normally take off their shoes, but apparently they're wayy too comfy and in love with their shoes that they refuse to take their Servis Shoes off. Either be it in bed, while taking a dip in a pool, or even taking a bath, Service Shoes ke utaarnay ka LITERALLY koi #SceneHeeNahin hai!! :p

With this campaign Servis has done it again to deliver what their brand promised; to cater daily footwear needs for all the members of an average Pakistani family, without compromising their quality and looks!

With its multi-brand approach, constant innovation in design and up-to-date style trends, Servis has products for all age groups and personal tastes. The new Servis summer collection is now available in stores nationwide. It can also be viewed online at: http://www.servis.com/

I dont know about you guys, but I'm stoked and actually looking forward to buy myself some amazing servis shoes from their new collection available at some #Diltastic prices! Till I get blessed with some $$$ and goodies from the shoe gods, this is me, signing off!

MARHAM: The Digital Healthcare Revolution!

Did You Help Someone Today? #MarhamBano

The phrase "Health is Wealth" is not just a cliché, But It actually does refer to the importance of one's health. When during sickness our health is compromised, we set out to find a good doctor and not just a general physician or a doctor from the Local clinic who can miraculously even cure cancer from a Panadol. During our tireless searches, a word of mouth can help big time. Even the smallest suggestions from our family and friends who have dealt with similar health issues previously can literally make a difference in narrowing down the search for the most appropriate doctors. However at times, even our family and friends' knowledge is limited about it.

Marham was created to provide a platform for connecting the patients directly to doctors, eliminating the doubt factor. For the Era we live in, where we have the entire world on our fingertips, it has become easier to know about the Healthcare system through the smart phones and internet and connect with 5,000 doctors of the around 12,000 socially active pupils on Marham.

Marham is a way to empower the people to get awareness of the shams run by some quacks that call themselves doctors and ruin people's lives. In other words, Marhamis a community based initiative and can help people make better health decisions than they can on their own. Be it good or bad, our feedbacks, and reviews of the doctors we go to, and the treatment we get, can make someone's life better and ease their pain, and even save one's life!

Watch the video of the central idea of Marham here to understand better about the actual issues people face.

As a victim of misdiagnosis by a family doctor, I went through a great deal of pain and wrong treatment myself, that ended up only to deteriorate my health further, and getting the family doctor's medical license revoked. Since that traumatizing experience, choosing the right doctor for treatment has been the hardest part of my life. And in one way or another, this was the reason why I wanted to pursue my degree in medicine.

The Marham community as per now is an active group of around 12,000 people, and the website and mobile application is due to launch soon.  However, it does not stop here. We still need to spread the word about it since this a cause that will definitely save lives! I urge everyone to join the Facebook page of MARHAM and be the part of the community.

Follow Marham on the social world through:

For the love of people, #MarhamBano, and do your part.

#InThePinkRoom: MStudio's Campaign to Highlight Everyday Women Heroes!!

MStudio, an upcoming fashion brand for women, vows to liberate mind-sets and have a social impact on the current market of the country. In light of this vision, they have launched their campaign #InThePinkRoom, which highlights extraordinary women who we come across on a daily basis.

“The concept of ‘In the Pink Room’ is all about recognizing the not so average woman, who fights on a daily basis against social and cultural norms to achieve what she wants. We wanted to give them a virtual space where their struggle could be celebrated”, said Daiyaan Alam, CEO of MStudio.

In the first phase of the campaign, Monro Studio has highlighted the achievements of a few women they have identified as strong, ambitious and resilient.

“We don’t just want to highlight the Oscar winners and the physicists and the mountaineers. They are, no doubt, a source of immense pride to us on an international level. But we want to expand the criteria of appreciation to include many more women. We want to highlight that girl who defies societal pressure and says she will go into film making, even if she faces resistance. We want to encourage the girl who takes up mountain climbing with her friends, even though her family tells her it’s not for girls. We want to celebrate the Sharmeen Obaid Chinoys and the Nergis Mavalvalas who don’t get celebrated for being who they are.” said Sumbul Usman, Digital Representative of the brand.

In the era we're living in, oppressed and helpless unsuccessful women is the thing of the past. But Pakistan still has a long way to go, and to Inspire the ordinary women, sometimes we need an extraordinary example to liberate the minds of the young and mold them, while giving hope, ambition, and motivation to the rest. We don't realize how many female heroes live amongst us, and How much we need to appreciate their daily effort in being extraordinary example that they are. In order to give these everyday heroes a highlight, MStudio urges everyone to send in their nominees and tell everyone how they inspire you to become a better person! The nominations can be sent on Facebook or via a tweet with the hashtag #InThePinkRoom

Till I nominate my picks of the day, This is me, signing off.

Digitally Motivated,
Wurduh Jaffri!
