The End of the story that changed lives. |
Shiza was pacing back and forth in her room while gazing out her window where Zain’s room was clearly seen. She could see him walk about his room doing the usual stuff while talking to someone on his phone. Shiza looked up the clock to see and process who he could be talking to, at this ungodly hour. It was almost four A.M in the morning. Now Shiza’s brain was overwhelmingly crowded with theories and ideas of who he might be talking to. He seemed to be in a pretty good mood while being on call, which bothered her a bit too much. Still continuously pacing back and forth, Shiza’s brain decided to punk her and started plotting a heinous plan. Because she was perturbed and infuriated by Zain’s act; she called up an old friend from Sydney.
It took about five seconds to connect the call, when a husky voice hit Shiza’s ears. “Shalom?”, said the voice.
“Groliski? It’s me. Shayzill” replies Shiza, being somewhat relieved by hearing his voice.
“Ayeee yo shayyzill ma guurll! Where you at mateyy? Got thah guy yet? Waayhh nevamaaind aahfcooouse you goh him? I mean, how can youh naaah?”
“Groliski! I didn’t get him. He’s with someone else. And I need your help to get rid of her. I don’t even want a piece of her in this city!"
“Ayee Shayzill, anything fo youuh ma gurll”
Groliski was a very powerful mob leader from Sydney. He was basically the king of the ammunition mafia. When Shiza went to Australia, Groliski was the first person to meet her, literally. She met him at the Melbourne International Airport and helped his gangster highness from almost getting caught at the airport. She saved the most wanted criminal’s ass, and in return, She got a faithful older friend for a lifetime. And a gangster pet name “Shayzill”.
Shiza filled in Groliski with all the events that took place. He knew Shiza was just being overly emotional and was acting a bit too insane. But he was his friend, and he had contacts all over the damn world. Now, the word was out. Shayzill needed help. A big help. Though Shiza didn't know Hina personally, she never even saw her; still she hated Hina with all of her body cells. She wanted to kill her. She wanted to choke the life out of her. She wanted Hina to feel how hard it was to live without Zain for so long. She wanted to slow poison her an torture her till her last breath. And better yet, She wanted to kill her by blowing her up.
“Waas her name agaihn?”
“Waas her name agaihn?”
“Hina Rabbani Khar”
“Orkayy. Location found babe. Are ya suure ya wanmey to do this?”
“There are no second thoughts on this one, Groliski!”
“But thaa damage could be big oe!”
“I don’t care!”
“Orrkaayyy den babe! Papa bear is in ignition. F Y I, this is the most lethal missile this world wil evaah see! Even we dunno the outcomes ayyee. But were still gonna blow it straight ta ya man stealing biznatch!”
“Orrkaayyy den babe! Papa bear is in ignition. F Y I, this is the most lethal missile this world wil evaah see! Even we dunno the outcomes ayyee. But were still gonna blow it straight ta ya man stealing biznatch!”
“Do it already Groliski!”
“Aight aiiightt! Jeez kid. You’re a monstaah… jay kayy! Im proudaah yah!”
“DO IT!"
“Aight aiiightt! Jeez kid. You’re a monstaah… jay kayy! Im proudaah yah!”
“DO IT!"
“kayy kayy Papa Bear launching in..5.…4….3….2….. Mother fucking 1!.. and BAAAM! Hallelujah bitchhhh.”
And with that Groliski fired the missile to Hina’s coordinates. Shiza disconnected the call in anxiety. Within five Holy minutes, the deadly missile hit Karachi and straight at Hina’s place. The loudest explosion was heard and witnessed by the local residents from the far neighborhoods which was beyond horrendous and dreadful.
The missile attack was so powerful that half of the city was covered in thick black fog of ashes and pure terror.
Most of the people thought it was the end of times. A lot of city inhabitants thought it was the beginning of a civil war. The residents came out of their houses with heavy arms and ammunition thinking that a blitzkrieg has been initiated. More than a thousand people were cremated in that area. Cries, screams were being heard all over the place. Blood, dead bodies in rubble, fire, ashes everywhere. A heavy commercial and residential area was now just a bloody graveyard, All because of a love struck girl.
Minutes after the explosion, Groliski texted Shiza, “It’s clobbering time”. Immediately Shiza knew that the loud explosion she heard was from her own missile.
Now, it was Shiza’s turn to tell Zain, do a bit of drama and get all this over with. She went close to her window and found a very confused Zain holding his phone in his hand and swearing repeatedly. He caught an eye with Shiza through his window and came running towards it, and shouted, “What the bloody hell was that? That explosion! I’m worried sick now and my cable is not working! D’you mind telling me what happened?”
Shiza nodded and pretended to turn on the television and read the news. She already knew how to fake the news, so she went on. “It says here, there’s been a missile attack in Karachi” Zain got worried now. A little part of his heart went off in pure horror. He was in trauma. He could barely speak. But he knew he had to ask, just to make sure. “What area?”, he choked out.
Now was the fun part for Shiza. She shouted, “Don’t worry Zainy! Its 5thPark Street, Beach View, Pretty far from here.”
And that was the final blow for Zain. Shiza was watching him closely while he broke down into a series of fits and cries. He couldn’t process this all. He was just talking to her an hour ago and now, this. She could have possibly died. But then again he wasn’t even sure. Forcibly, he had to gain all his conscience thinking about her. He stood up and dusted himself and ran out of his room towards the stairs, dodging a worried sister and a hysteric mother.
Shiza saw the whole thing . She knew Zain would make a run for her, So she acted fast. She picked up the car keys and ran out towards her father’s car. She could see Zain’s car picking up pace and catching up to hers. But she wanted to make sure she arrive their first to witness the scenario, and of course, to give her shoulder to Zain to cry on.
Meanwhile, as the thick clouds began to end, another series of horrible events were yet to take place. As Zain and Shiza arrived the entrance of the Park Street, they both were dumbstruck by what they witnessed. What once was a place filled with greenery, buildings and a whole lot of people, now was just smoke and black. They both got out of their cars. Zain, failing to notice Shiza, proceeded towards the rubble. It was hard to see. He coughed twice and rubbed his eyes. He saw a bunch of people, walking towards him from a distance. He could not figure out their voices. All he hear were some moans and groans.
“Who are they?” said Shiza out of curiosity.
“What are you doing here?” he said, being literally confused.
“I followed you” She lied.
They tried seeing who these people were. And why were they all coming in such a big number towards them.
Shiza started coughing. And squeaked in pure horror as she saw what was proceeding towards them.
“ZAIN! RUNN!”
“what?”
“RUUUNNNNN!!!!”with that she took Zain’s hand and started running. “Shizaa? Whaaats happening?”he stuttered. Shiza replied, still being horrified. He raised his hand and what he saw brought shivers to his whole body. A deadly mob of re-animated corpse in a very large number was to be seen. All the residents of the Park street who died were now re-animating, waking up while growling and moaning
This was it. This was the beginning of the Apocalypse. The beginning of the end. and all because of a love struck 18 year old who had connections with australian ammo mafia...
